BendayBeta testing
Read with Benday before everyone else
Benday is in a closed test on Google Play before it opens to everyone. Testers get the app for free and help shake out the last bugs.
Sign-ups open soon. The test starts as soon as Google has approved the developer account. Check back in a few days.
- Join the tester group with the Google account you use on Google Play.
- Accept the test on Google Play's test page (sign in with the same account).
The link follows here as soon as the first test build is out.
- Install Benday from Google Play as usual. As a tester you won't be charged.
What testing means
- Use Benday with your server, the way you'd read anyway: Komga, Kavita, Stump or an OPDS catalog, your own or one a friend shares with you. No server yet? Komga is free, and the guide shows where to start.
- Keep it installed for at least two weeks: Google requires a test of 14 days before an app can go public.
- Tell us what breaks or bothers you on the feedback page, or with the Feedback button in Google Play.
- Android 7.0 or newer, phone or tablet.
Free for testers
Benday will be a one-time purchase on Google Play. During the test, testers install it without paying.
Your address stays with Google. The tester group is a Google Group; only the developer sees who is in it, and it's used for nothing but the test. Leave the group to stop testing. See the privacy policy.
